What it means
Regenerative Organic Certified is a farming standard from the Regenerative Organic Alliance. It starts with organic certification and adds requirements in three areas: soil health, animal welfare and social fairness.
For coffee, that means farms that build their soil instead of wearing it out, and farmworkers who are paid and treated fairly. A higher bar than organic alone.
